The person who sends in the correct answer first will win the contest and will receive a $1,000.00 scholarship fund or a $1,000.00 donation towards a charity of their choosing, and a free lunch with the author. All other correct participants will be listed on our website.

At dawn, an ancient Emperor was presented two pieces of jade as the symbol for his country. One piece was gorgeous, flawless and precious. It was pure treasure. The other was imperfect, filled with cracks and had a worn look. It was difficult to appreciate its value.
The experts and cabinet members in the palace were praising the perfect jade and recommended that it be chosen. However, the Emperors attention remained on the imperfect jade. The entire palace grew silent.
